According to the latest Global Smartwatch Model Tracker issued by Counterpoint Research, a global research firm focusing in the technology, media, and telecom industries, Amazfit, is placed third in global smartwatch shipments in the third quarter of 2021.
Global shipments of 9.9 million units were recorded in the third quarter, an increase of 89 percent over the same period last year. According to data from market research firm International Data Corporation, Amazfit ranked as the world’s fourth largest smartwatch provider by shipments for the first time in the first quarter.
During the first nine months of 2021, total global shipments of Amazfit smartwatches totaled 27.8 million.
Amazfit has grown to become one of the most popular smart wearable brands in Italy and Spain, while sales in Germany have increased by 150 percent year over year. In comparison to 2020, shipments to Turkey surged by 324 percent, thanks to thousands of points of sale across the country.
The new additions of the GTR 2e and GTS 2e to the best-selling Amazfit GTS 2 and GTR 2 Family during CES 2021, as well as the debut of the Amazfit T-Rex Pro in March as an upgrade to the outdoor series, contributed to the strong sales momentum.

The impending festive season sales push in major regions is also projected to boost annual income significantly.
